Fully automatic routine circle polarimeter; also suitable for sugar applications

Fully electronic circle polarimeter with rotating analyser directly coupled to the optical encoder. Therefore is the accuracy of the instrument stable over the whole measuring range.

The circle polarimeter Polartronic NH8 is constantly giving the actual rotation value of the sample. The result will be shown in angular degrees, °, directly after switching the instrument on. With the arrow keys on the key board you can switch over to other scales, which are the International Sugar Scale (reading of 100.0 °Z for 26.0 g of pure sucrose in 100 cm3 of solution) and °Z*2 (13 g instead of 26 g) in the standard version of the instrument. You can define your own scales also.

The instrument is handled simply via four function keys. It has a one line 16 character LCD display with the possibility to display laevorotating samples. The instrument is equipped with a simple software for test routines and instrument configurations and a configurable RS232 interface. Other interfaces (or additional) are available.

The resolution of the NH8 is in complete conformity to the European and American Pharmacopeia. All necessary data for a GLP/GMP-conform documentation can be transmitted as text line for the printer or ASCII-data row for the PC via serial RS232-interface to a printer or to a personal computer.

Various sample tubes are available for different applications on stock.

The polarimeter Polartronic NH8 is equipped with standard wavelength 589 nm. 

In the Polartronic N Series are five difference models, they have other parameter for the wavelength. Please see table technical data.
